Our Mission

The Junior League of Duluth is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Playfront Park on the Bay

WE HAVE ALMOST REACHED OUR GOAL!!

Thanks to the support of the local community, the Junior League of Duluth is rebuilding Playfront Park on the Bay!� This playground was originally built in 1989 as a community project led by the Junior League of Duluth.� The park needs to be replaced and the Junior League has made the commitment to the city and has raised funds to build a new playground.� The new playground will be an Evos design structure that enhances children's balance, coordination and strength.�� The plan is to build the playground in May 2010.

The Junior League of Duluth is looking for volunteers to help with dismantling the old park as well as assembling the new one. This will be on the weekend of May 21-24. � If you or your group are able to help this spring please send an email to jlduluth.website@gmail.com or click here and learn more.

We are still raising funds in hopes to add a central shade structure to the park.� There is still time to purchase a personalized brick that will be part of the new walkways and provide funding to support a shade structure.
